The surgery was performed on 69-year-old Shyam Narayan from Rasra in Ballia district, who suffered from total urinary incontinence after undergoing prostate cancer surgery in 2019. A team of specialists from the department of urology and renal transplant at RMLIMS, led by Dr Ishwar Ram Dhayal, carried out the procedure with support from Dr Gautam Banga, a well-known urologist from Delhi.
