On Tuesday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided six locations in Kolkata, including the home of TMC MLA Sudipto Roy, over alleged financial irregularities at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The investigation follows the CBI’s arrest of former hospital principal Sandip Ghosh and others, linked to the scandal that emerged after the rape and murder of a female doctor at the hospital.
