A recent study conducted by King George's Medical University in Lucknow has found that children in the city are being exposed to levels of lead four times higher than the permissible limit. The study, which covered 60 urban schools across 10 districts in India, revealed that Lucknow ranks second in blood lead levels among the cities studied.
