Williams was the most established of five youngsters and the
main child of Julia Mae and Richard Dove Williams. His more youthful sisters
are Pat, Barbara, Penny, and Faye. Subsequent to moving on from secondary
school he moved to Saginaw, Michigan and afterward to California.
Richard Williams, conceived February 14, 1942, is a previous
American tennis trainer and the dad of tennis players Venus Williams and Serena
Williams.
In the wake of moving to California he met Betty Johnson. They
wedded in 1965 and had five youngsters, three children and two little girls:
Sabrina, Richard III, Ronner, Reluss, and Reneeka, who were brought up close by
Betty's other little girl, Katrina. Williams and Johnson separated in 1973.
In 1979, he met Oracene "Cognac" Price, who had three
little girls from a past relationship. They wedded in 1980 and had two little
girls, Venus (conceived June 17, 1980) and Serena (conceived September 26,
1981). The family dwelled in Compton, California. Richard and Oracene separated
in 2002.
Richard then, at that point, met supermarket proprietor Lakeisha
Juanita Graham, and they wedded in 2010. They have a child. They separated in
2017
Williams has a child, Chavoita, from a relationship outside his
relationships.
In July 2016, Williams experienced a stroke. At the time his
then-spouse, Lakeisha Williams, expressed that his condition was steady. In
2022, Williams was accounted for to have had two strokes.
Williams
took tennis illustrations from a man known as "Old Whiskey" and
concluded his future little girls would be tennis experts subsequent to seeing
Virginia Ruzici playing on TV. Williams said that he reviewed a 85-page plan
and began giving examples to Venus and Serena when they were four and a half,
taking them to rehearse on open tennis courts. Williams later added that he
believed he took them too soon and age six would have been more appropriate. In
1995, Williams pulled out his girls from a tennis foundation and trained them
himself. Inside a couple of years, they were winning huge homerun competitions.
